Apologies to everyone for my absence. Spent the last 2 months moving out of Taiwan, and settling into my digs back in the Old Country.
Which leads to the question of what to do about this blog.
Guess I'll have to figure that one out as I go along . . .
join the “blogging for TW from outside of TW” club.
But if you were in Formosa, you’d be a foreigner in formosa. So the blog no longer describes your current location, but merely one of a set of possible conditions of existence for you.
We’ll miss you. Good luck in the Old Country with all you do.
Part of me’s still in Formosa in spirit, so there’s still SOME truth to the name.
(Although “The Blogger Formerly Known As The Foreigner In Formosa” would make a heckuvan URL, wouldn’t it?)
Dude!
Keep the URL, but change the header to “No longer a…” or “Used to be a…” or just “Ex-…”
But *do* keep on bloggin’ whenever the feeling hits you.
The “Ex-” sounds good and short too. Common, don’t quit!

Tim,
Exactly what I was thinkin’!
